HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF Memory Problem

i was able to install 12gbs out of 16gbs of Corsair XMS DDR3 10066 @1333hz Ram.

i have a Hp Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC.

if i pop the other 4gb stick in the ram slot the PC will not boot, but the keyboards light up, the monitor stays on, the GPU fans spin, the HDD powers on, but the issue here is that i get no video and the PSU sounds like it’s gearing to take flight because of how loud it gets.

i can not get into the BIOS, because it is Legacy and not UEFI. so i can not make any adjustments to RAM Clock Speed via bios.

i know this machine is capable of 32gbs of DDR3 Ram, but i can’t seem to get past the 12gb mark.

what the fuck is the problem here? PLEASE HELP.

Try installing only one working RAM module in the slot that causes the PC to not boot.
Try cleaning all of your RAM slots before.
If the PC does not POST in this case, then there's a problem with the slot.
