I just bought a second hand hp compaq pro 6300, it had windows 7 so I formatted and install win 10.

After install all the regular software
( chrome, Google drive, office , winrar etc) I restarted the pc and from that on all the problems began.

Blue screens of hardware failure, loop of automatic repair the pc just don't boot.

I formatted over 5 times with different OS(windows 7 64bit and windows 10 64bit)

I also tried:

• reset bios.
•chkdsk.
•change memory stick to other slots.
•fixboot / fixmbr /rebuildbcd

Hope that maybe you guys could help me.

Thanks! :)

Hi there User154,

The automatic repair process could indicate some HDD related issue. This is why, you need to back up the data stored on the drive.
Once you've done that, you can check the drive's health status out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
It would be nice to provide a screenshot of the SMART report.

What else does the BSOD say except for hardware failure? (hardware failure of something specific?)

Let me know how this goes,

There are some bad sectors on the drive, that were already reallocated. They would eventually continue to appear. This is why, it is unreliable.
My suggestion would be to replace it.

Of course, you can use this one as an external let's say (with an enclosure). Yet, you should store only non important data on it.

Cheers,
