I am trying to download software for my HP deskjet F2483. After downloading and trying to install, I get the message "Extraction failed - cannot open file. Help please

I am trying to download software for my HP deskjet F2483. After downloading and trying to install, I get the message "Extraction failed - cannot open file. Help please

Try downloading the file and save it to your Desktop ( ie don't run it from the browser download window ). If you are using Vista or Windows 7, right click the installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation.

Also you might try a different zup/unzip like 7-zip.
