Question HP EliteDesk: "This computer has been reported lost or stolen" ?

I recently bought a cheap HP EliteDesk, I mostly use it for browsing or movies and not for gaming as I have already a high-end pc.

After using it for 2days, I got a "DeviceFreeze" message:

Could anyone help me how to disable this please?

Return the system to your seller asking for a refund or escalate for a claim with your bank(if it's possible), you shouldn't be getting that message. Here's a reddit(informed by a colleague of mine) on the matter...alongside two other URL's; 1 and 2.

This is a used system?
With any used device, your first move should be a full wipe and reinstall.

This appears to be malware, left over from the previous owner.
