HP Laserjet 4000 - problems with paper detection in tray 2

I use a HP Laserjet 4000N printer on a small network that has two Windows XP computers (32 bit) and one Windows 7 computer (64 bit). One of the XP computers shares the Laserjet 4000N printer with the other computers.

Printing that originates on the XP computers works fine but when a job is sent from the Windows 7 computer the printer looks for tray 2 instead of tray 1 and tray 2 doesn't exist. Should I try to load a 64 bit driver on the base 32 bit xp computer? If so, how can I obtain the 64 bit driver? Thanks

You do need to install the 64-bit printer driver right enough, but on the Windows 7 64-bit computer, not the Windows XP 32-bit computer. Each computer in a network that needs printer access must have a compatible printer driver installed on it.
