Not solved yet. Read on.
Since a Windows 11 update in March 2023 my HP Omen 30L will not come out of sleep mode when it goes into sleep mode after 3 hours. Hibernate mode is not available in Control Panel power settings either. Holding the power button in to shut it down doesn't work either, I have to unplug the PC every day and restart it.
It does appear the computer wakes up as the lights on my USB hub light up when I hit a key, but the monitor never comes on.
PC: HP Omen 30L GT13-1xxx
OS: Windows 11 Home 64-bit
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics, 6 cores
Bios: Ami F.12 11/4/2021
Bios mode: UEFI
SMBios version: 3.3
Memory: 16GB
Display: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060
Bootable C drive: NTFS SSD with 775GB free, there are several other drives I plugged in from an old PC including another SSD and normal hard drive.
I use corded USB Logitech headphones with a boom mic.
Soundcard: unknown
Now I just want to remove the sleep option from my power settings and have the PC shut down after N hours. The only options available in Win11 power settings are Sleep, but not Shutdown. How do I get the PC to shut down after N hours?
If that doesn't work, is it possible to get the PC and monitor to wake up from sleep mode?
Thank you!
EDIT: The problem was solved after updating the BIOS during testing when I set it to sleep after 15 minutes or I use the power menu on Windows 11, but the computer will not come on at all after it sits overnight. The hardware button does nothing whether I press it once, or long press it, although the video card lights are on. I have to unplug the PC, wait 5 seconds, plug it in, and then the hardware power button will turn it on.
Does anyone have any ideas?

What I've tried
- I've searched the internet to try some things.
- I've updated the HP firmware and updated the Nvidia drivers and that doesn't help. Of course I did a reboot after these.
- I'm working on doing the BIOS update right now. I updated the BIOS. This might have worked! I let the PC go to sleep by itself, hitting a key woke up the PC and the monitor. Then I tested by putting the PC to sleep with the power menu. It woke up, along with the monitor! Learn how to update the BIOS here. https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gamin...es-not-wake-up-from-sleep/td-p/8137336/page/2 This has not fixed the problem.
