HP Omen 870-213w user thoughts

A friend just got one of these (her husband insisted on buying a computer from Walmart). Does anyone have one that can tell me is it in fact liquid cooled as the HP support guy insists? She's had it just over a week and already says it gets super hot "in back." By the way, she's in NJ and I'm in FL, so I can't just go over and fiddle with it myself. Are other people experiencing high temps? Any other general thoughts about the system?

Her relevant known specs: Intel i7 7700, Nvidia GTX 1070 8GB DDR5, 16 GB DDR4-2100 SDRAM, 256 GB SSD, 1 TB HHD.
