Question HP Omen key

Hi,
I was thinking of reinstalling windows on my HP Victus 16 E0000 laptop.
This model has a physical key for Omen gaming hub, so i was wondering if i reinstall windows, will the key work as what i was wondering was that reinstalling might remove the the software that makes it work.
