Question Hp omen takes very long time to shut down

So once again I'm on here about my hp omen 17 laptop, this time its about the shut down, which normally takes up to 5 mins after hitting "shutdown" and after shutting down I'm sure something is still running inside as the system, whilst unplugged and in my bag will stay warm and after 4 hours in bag unplugged, has used 50% battery power, HOWEVER, and this has happened once before, yesterday I turned of pc at roughly 11pm, and with bed work gym, I got home at 10pm today and went to turn pc on, and it was still shutting down, had to hold power button to force it off, so almost 12 hours and it still hadn't shut down, last time this happened and I forced the shutdown windows just up and moved out and I had to get a pc tech to get my pc running again.
