HP Pavilion 15 won't turn on

About a week ago my laptop stopped charging. It would not charge at all, so I've been keeping it plugged in in order to use it. This has worked fine up until I unplugged it to move it. It must've died completely which I figured would be no big deal, however now it will not turn on at all. (Even when plugged in) I've already attempted a hard reset and the only response I'm getting are blinking blue led lights near the charge port.
I've ordered a new battery which I initially thought was the issue but now I'm afraid that I've fried the motherboard or something.

It could still well be the battery. Some laptops don't like to work if the battery isn't in or isn't charging. Wait and see if the new battery resolves it first. However, if you bought an after market battery, that can be hit or miss for it working correctly. So keep that in mind.
