Hi there,
I´m going to install Win 10 Pro the next days on an older HP Pavilion G6 from 2011.
msinfo32.exe does not show "bios mode" to my surprise. But in storage manager I see the SYSTEM partition is ntfs, is it safe to conclude it´s a legacy machine?
I read somewhere on the net, these devices actually were uefi, but HP configured them to boot in legacy mode. Maybe at that time uefi wasn´t considered to be stable enough to use.
Thus, I guess it´s safe to create a Win 10 Pro legacy boot device for USB?
Thanks!
