[SOLVED] HP PC wont turn on ?

so my HP 8300 sff desktop wont turn on, one day i was doing the work i usually do and i turned the pc off to go do something, when i got back a couple minutes later i tried to turn the pc on and the power button would press all the way in and the front light would turn on but immediately turn right back off, i dont know what to do and i need to finish what i was doing its important.

Make and model of the PSU in your SFF prebuilt system? How old is the PSU in said prebuilt? Most likely your PSU has conked out and is in need of a replacement, if it's the original unit from the factory(about a decade or so ago).

its the original unit from when i recieved the system, ill look for a new psu.
