I have an HP Envy 5530 and attempting to print calculus work. The printer would print squares on plus/minus/division/multiply/equal signs. For some reason, the error occurs when printing from my Windows 8.1 desktop but printing from my Macbook works just fine.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, plugging the printer directly to my computer, or using a different browser did not resolve this issue.
The file I am printing is in PDF using firefox (not Adobe Reader etc.).
Is there an error in my settings or something that needs to be change?
