HP Splash gone

after fresh install of windows 7 ultimate my hp splash has gone all i see is what the computer is checking. is there anyway i can get it back?

The splash is a function of the BIOS. Theoretically, installing windows 7 ultimate shouldn't have changed the BIOS at all...unless you (coincidentally) had to clear CMOS settings around the same time. But in that case, it wasn't Windows 7 that got rid of the splash.

You need to enter your BIOS setup menus and look for boot settings, and "display logo" or some similar wording. Set that to enable or on.
