The device is a HP Pavillion 14 Notebook P.C. with a Windows 10 64-bit O.S. and had a recent reset because of virus problems, but the camera on occasions was usable.

during the device setup i used the DriverPack Solution to update the drivers of the device and was confident it updated all the driver but recently when tried using skype there was no light indicating the webcam is on and told me that i need to connect a webcam to conduct a video call with. The driver for the camera was either incompatible or was not included thus i went and looked at the Device Manger to see if my driver is unidentified or outdated at first it was listed under Imaging Devices and under this category it was HP 2.O M.P. webcam. since i was there I tried to update the driver by using the Device Manager > Update Driver > Search Online Feature and the result was it was up to date, so i went to the Camera App included in Windows 10, and there was a display for about 7 7 sec then went dark when I looked at the Device Manager the Imaging Device Category was gone and got replaced by Camera and under that category was SPCA208082 PC Camera but there was no display so i thought it just need a restart to refresh the driver but after the restart it went back to the Imaging Devices and when I executed the Camera App there is a light indicating the camera is on but the display is pitch black. So i decided to update the driver using the HP Driver Support Website and downloaded the Youcam Driver under the Multimedia-Software it was the driver of the camera before the reset but it cant find the webcam and generates an error code: 0xA00F4244(0xC00DABED).

Solution
Not the best expert in cameras, but I think if you went back to device manager, go to update driver, and choose a driver on this Pc, and then let me pick from a list, the most basic one from your pc manufacturer should be fine. Shouldn’t be too many options in those drivers, so try them all. Camera drivers won’t kill the Pc.

used on their advises the update driver it works but there is no video feed
