[SOLVED] HP x25 144hz, no g sync option

hi guys. just set up my new monitor but cant figure out why i don't have the g sync option in nvidia control panel. ive followed tips other people have posted online but nothing is working. free sync is on in my monitor options

Hi guys, just bought the monitor in the title. After reading this https://linustechtips.com/topic/1021857-g-sync-compatible-master-thread/

Turns out I would need a display port to display port wire to be able to run g sync. After looking online I can only seem to find ones that are capable of 2k and 4k resolutions. I have a rtx 2060 and my monitor is 1080p. Can I buy a 1080p version or will the 2k and 4k versions work for my system. Thanks in advance
