Question HP Z1 workstation half side dim

I have aquired an HP Z1 workstation All In One with 27 inch display by LG. The left side is dim. I can see there are 2 sets of wires, going to each end of the edge lit led backlight, and left half is not lit. I can measure 36 volts on most of the wires going to the lit side, and zero volts on the dark side.
Is there a way to fix the power on the motherboard to supply the other side? I did not want to bridge them, it may be too much power draw on the working side.
