I have an HP Z2 Tower G5 Workstation with an i7 processor running Windows 11 Education that I have been using with no issues for the last 2 or 3 years. A couple days ago, I tried to restore a system image, it never finished and ended up entering a boot loop.
Every time it starts to boot, I can't do anything (even enter bios). I reset the CMOS using the button on the motherboard, uninstalled the aftermarket graphics cards and USB C cards, yet the only way I can get it to fully boot is to reset the CMOS, it'll boot, but then I try to restart again and get the same reboot loop until I reset the CMOS again.
I've run every hardware test available, and they all finish with a pass and reset the BIOS to factory settings.
If anyone has any ideas of what could be wrong or what else I could try, I'd be eternally grateful!!!!
