I have two HP z420's that rarely misbehave- sometimes individual programmes get locked up, but very reliable in general. There is sometimes a loud fan sound when restarting. This happens usually if the system has been running awhile and shut down and restarted soon after. The CPU fan runs very fast for a few seconds than slows back down to normal speed.

Can you say more about when your problems happen and the kind of sounds?

For example, is the system in a hot room? Do you think the problems occur when the system is running hot? Are you using the z400 for running renderings?

my system is not heating up i am using it to play games or other stuff but not using for rendering my room got an A.C
but i found the solutin its my RAMs i ve got 2*2 RAMs one is in the 1st slot and other is in 3rd slot so i put it in 2nd slot now my system work fine
