Hroldar the strange

Anyone got any tips on beating Hroldar the Strange without killing him. Im
having no luck using my fists. My unarmed combat rating is now 34 and it
just doesnt seem to be enough to beat him.

I trained my hand to hand skill to 46 and was able to beat him easily
with my fists.
In the past I have also beat him using Damage Fatigue spells and
enchantments.

Just keep going, it may take some time but he will finally admit defeat.

Train your hand-to-hand skill with someone else first. Ondres Nerano in
Balmora is a good sparring partner. He lives alone and doesn't fight too
well. I guess he hates my Player by now, but I enjoyed several good
fights with him.

Yeah - I found a weapon that drained substantial amounts of fatigue from the
creature it hit... such a spell could help get his fatigue down so that it
didn't take forever to beat it out of him.

he is script controlled. he will leave when his
fatigue is low enough
