>I looked up fab space on the net and thats what I got for
>numbers don't be getting all pissy because Intel has several
>larger fabs.

Except that your numbers don't show it has a single larger fab, let alone several. Not that I am 100% positive intel doesn't have a bigger fab, but I'm fairly confident nonetheless.

But the issue is, why question statements like that from me, when you have absolutely no reason to doubt it ? Now if you or anyone would have recalled reading upon some mega fab by intel that was bigger, its not that I mind being corrected, but I do get tired of having to defend *ANY* statement I make against your baseless questioning ('are you sure ?') and incorrect counterposts like this one.

Usually I am sure, and usually I only make statement about things where I know what I am talking about (if not, it will be stated clearly), so if you are randomly going to keep challenging my posts, you'll just be wasting everybodies time.

The numbers are in square feet the numbers came off the net straight from Intel and AMD what more can I say.

Exaclty. It is however, interesting the intel fab has more clean room, but fab capacity is certainly not only defined by that.

Now if someone would have numbers for wafer starts per week, then we'd have an interesting metric.
