How about a small object I keep available, on a wrist or pinned to my clothes? Using sound holography, it presents the sound to my ears without my having to hold it there, but keeps others around me from hearing it.

Of course, it's from Star Trek. Come to think of it, they invented the flip-phone, too.

Ummm, there is nothing that will make me buy an HTC phone. When you imitate iCrap too much, tech-smart people start running for the exit. No replaceable batteries and no micro sd slot did it for me.
