HTPC AMD APU

I'm thinking of putting a new HTPC together and I'm thinking about buying an AMD A6-3500 for the processor and just going with the gpu on the chip. I'm building this mainly to stream netflix to my tv, and I've seen some comments on various sites suggesting that AMD's APU's have difficulty with netflix's HD streaming. I find that unlikely but I'd like to get some opinions on it before I make the purchase. Any help would be appreciated.

It's not exactly the APU you have to worry about. Netflix has not properly implemented hardware acceleration with Silverlight and therefore the CPU (rather than the VPU) must handle the playback. The AMD brazos APU's do not have a fast enough CPU to handle HD Netflix because of this. The Llano APU's will have no such limitations.
