Hello HUAWEI B593 experts,

I have ordered B593U-12 that is supposed to work with T-Mobile 4G network. I can get only 2G. When I configure Internet to Auto, I get 5 bars on the antenna signal and connects to 2G only. I forced the router to connect to 4G signal only. When I did that, I loose all antenna signals and does not communicate with the tower. I thought to move close to the tower. I placed the router 20 feet from the tower. I still have the same problem.

Any idea how to configure the router to receive 4G.

Thanks for the help.

Where did you see it that it should work with T-Mobile. T-Mo uses 1700/2100 AWS

Source : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-Mobile_US

From the specs from your modem. Source: http://www.store4g.com/huawei-b593/

4G LTE-FDD 800/900/1800/2100/2600MHz
3G HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS/WCDMA 900/2100Mhz
2G GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900MHz

So it only supports 2G on the bands that T-Mo works on.

Where or who told you it would work on T-Mo, because it doesn't support the bands. It's stuck at 2G, was wrong and either lied to you to sell you a modem, or can't do 30 seconds of research like I did.

Hello getochkn,

Can you recommend a sim card router similar to B593u-12, has WLAN and LAN ports, that will work with T-Mobile 4G LTE in the USA. I am not too familiar with radio spectrum technology.

Thanks
