I have this device (it's preinstalled by my internet provider). I managed to login as root user but I can't see connected devices
This is the first time I'm dealing with this kind of device. What am I doing wrong? I need to set fixed IP address for one of my devices.

might be needed to click on "fast setting" up right to get advanced settings, or get into advanced on the left

This is almost a call your ISP and make them help you. Huawei likes to lock their manuals behind some login screens that want cell phone numbers. I can see more and more why huawei products are not allowed to be used in the USA.

is the device already connected by wire?

It is, I have two places in my home where the wires go (through walls, I have ethernet plugs on the walls) and I also have several devices connected over wifi. Everything works fine.

I managed to set fixed IP's based on MAC addresses, I found the page for that.

Yeah, they are pretty obscure.
