Huawei wa1003a wireless setup

hi i have a wa1003a wifi modem and the light of wireless is working but no range is shown by my laptop

Is the laptop within normal range of the modem (wireless router ?). See the Huawei manual (may be on CD which came with it or on company's support website) for how to check that wireless SSID is being broadcast.

yes my laptop is within the normal range but still it is not working and there is no manual of wa1003a on their website please help me for the wifi networking with the wa1003a

I'd contact Huawei by e-mail and ask for directions on activating wireless and broadcasting SSID (or see if they do actually have a manual you can have).

Test that you can get online with the router attached to the computer by ethernet cable.

If that works follow the instructions below for accessing the router's user setup screens where, under Wireless Settings you should find a setting for activating wireless and turning on SSID. Inevitably, this relies on guesswork if you do not have the manual.

its working with the ethernet cable. n i try ur settings but still not through the wireless it show no wireless range on my laptop plz help me......

Then you may have to conclude that the Huawei is defective and return it to the dealer or importer for service under warranty.
