Huge FPS drops in fortnite

I am bored and wanted to play some more games and thought of going back to fortnite. I get 100fps on high with a GTX1050 and fx4300 CPU but I get huge fps drops. It shoots my ram usage to 75% and disk to 95% and my fps usually drops every second down to 5 and its unplayable with the huge lag spikes. Any help?

That system is very outdated and the GTX 1050 is an entry level gaming card so I am not surprised.

It is nothing to do with my hardware because it is my memory that is being eaten by the game and my old GT710 could run it at low settings without any lag spikes
