HWiNFO is showing motherboard temperatures very high

Both HWiNFO64 and other temperature monitors are showing temperature 3 at around 75C when im just idle and around 90C when gaming, pictures are included, this is the first time this has happened and my PC has just began to restart randomly in the past couple of weeks.

I replaced thermal paste recently but I used a pretty shitty paste as I couldnt find my good stuff. Could this be the reason for the shutting down? The CPU temps are normal so Im skeptical.

Do you know what "Temperature 3" is measuring, North Bridge or South Bridge? My guess is it's the North Bridge and that is just normal for your motherboard. That is why the motherboard has a heatsink in the center, to cool down the chipset.

I'm not able to find any information on which temperature is which on the internet, i replaced the CPU thermal paste today and the north bridge heat sink did not feel hot at all, if that is any indication.
