I'm about to buy the HX750i from Corsair, as I'm upgrading my computer from a single GTX 760 to 2 Sapphire Nitro+ RX 580 graphics cards. My current powersupply comes in at 550w (bronze) so I'm thinking the additional 750w should cover the additional graphicscard.

However I am a bit concerned, as each of the graphics cards require "1 x 8-pin + 1 x 6-pin (optional)". I'm of course wanting to use the extra 6 pin, since it will increase performance (I assume?). On top of that my computer has 5 RGB fans connected to a controller and an RGB keyboard and mouse mat; needless to say, this would of course increase the wattage.

Up until recently I've really just thought that a PSU is a minor detail in the computer, but upon my research I've since learned that it's a major one, and thus I'm really a noob at this.

Thank you in advance :)
