Jumped to fast i think. Needed to research some more. I havent been up to date on computer tech for awhile now. I have a WD Black 256GB Performance SSD - M.2 2280 PCIe NVMe Solid State Drive - WDS256G1X0C on the way. I ordered after i thought the HYPER M.2 X4 MINI CARD would work. Now i have some questions. I cant find anywhere that says what type of m2 connector is on the hyper m.2 mini card? I dont know if the wd will fit? My next question is i noticed asus says compatible with certain chipsets?Wondering if my msi 970a-g46 mobo will work. It is a 2.0 but i read its back words compatible with 2.0 and 1.0. I read a thread about someguy needed a bios hack to work with his older mobo? O what did i get myself into. Component's should be here in a week so lets see what i can learn by then. Waiting for asus chat to come online maybe have some answers later.
