My specs:

i7‑920 2.66 GHz Quad‑Core
Geforce GTX 950
8gb DDR3 Ram
650W Power Supply(dont know the brand)
2x1 tb hdd
Asus P6T motherboard

So I overclocked my cpu to 4GHz and everything is running fine and my temperature is staying perfect but my computer and games are going way faster like for real. my guy in dark souls is like the flash now. anyone know how to fix this?

Solution
Let me guess.. Windows 8?

Haven't seen this one in a while but open up a command prompt and type.

bcdedit /set useplatformclock true

Windows 8 uses the base clock as a clock instead of the RTC on the motherboard. When overclocking sometimes wacky things happen on that OS.

I haven't actually seen this first hand but have seen numerous threads on it.
