In mobile specification I have seen that hyper threaded dual core 2Ghz (Intel Atom Z2580) and Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7(Mediatek MT6589). Among these which one give better performance? And which one is better for browsing, gaming and chating? Plz answer.

The dual core is best in single tasking as it have only two cores but its processor speed is greater than the quad core one.If you prefer multi tasking then go with quad core...And for gaming, the hyper threaded dual core is best among those two.

The Z2580 Atom will give you a better performance all around, especially with gaming. For normal browsing and chatting, both processors are both capable.
The hyperthreaded dual core chip with it's higher operations per clock will return a lot more, especially with a much more capable GPU portion of the chip.

Its really not a fair comparison, their architectures are grossly different so very few applications could run on both of them. The Atom is x86 based while the Cortex-A7 is an ARM chip that also integrates a variety of antennas.

It seems to me like you are comparing a tablet with an atom to a tablet with an ARM chip. In reality you should be comparing the tablets not their processors as a tablet that is tiring to hold for long periods of time is worse than a weaker tablet that you don't mind holding for a long time.

Sorry, technically i am not sound .I am planning to buy either lenovo p780(Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7) or asus zenfone 5(hyper threaded dual core 2ghz).I am confused that which one is better. If you are technically sound person, Could please suggest me that which one I should select? thank you
