[SOLVED] Hyper threading is Disabled in Intel Processor Identification Utility

Look in Task Manager -> Performance tab -> CPU page. Also make sure the graph is set to "Logical processors" If you see 20 graphs, then Hyperthreading is running.

Alternatively you could use something like CPU-Z or HWiNFO which will also tell you how many hardware threads there are. If it's 20, then Hyperthreading is running.
Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for said motherboard? What OS are you working with and where did you source the installer for the OS?

  • Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Elite AX DDR4
  • BIOS version F3
  • Windows 11 from Microsoft website.
