So I'm trying to run multiple VMs running a game (10 game clients) each VM to bypass the ip limitations (can only run 10 game clients per ip). So to bypass this I was wanting to use a VM and VPN, Now before this limitation, I use to be able to run 70 game clients on my computer just without being on a VM. But them running on a VM on windows 11, I can get 10 game clients total on one singular VM. However the ram usage and cpu usage skyrockets to %50 Cpu just doing 10 game clients on just one VM. Is this just how it is?, or am I doing something wrong with optimization? Thanks

What CPU do you have? Does it have virtualization and did you turn it on in the bios?
The ram you have to divide yourself, in the VM settings only give it as much as it needs to run the 10 clients, having the OS running probably takes most of the ram though.

Just so we are all on the same page here...

With the exact same setup you have in place now you were running 70 virtual clients. Nothing else has changed aside from (presumably) Hyper V has placed a 10 client per IP limit in place?
Not one single other thing hardware or environment has changed in the meantime?

What are you working with and for?

Give us full config details, before and after.

Ive tested both my 13900hx with 4080 and my 5800x3D which i was running 70 game clients without them being on VM
