hyper x savage with hyperx only both ddr3 1866mgzhz

hi! i just finished inserting my nee hyperX savage 1866mhz ddr3 2x4gb ram.. im already using the hyperX fury ddr3 2x4gb 1866mhz.. when i tried booting up my pc.. the display is not working, my pc is running, fans and lights and all but i have waited for like 3 minutes and nothing happened..so removed tbpth savages and my pc worked normally as before.. now i removed both fury and tried both savages and my pc is working.. do i need to used 4x4gb savages in order for it to work?

Mixing memory is always risky, as there is likely to be incompatibility between the modules. This is likely to be the case here.

If using multiple modules, it is usually advisable to use modules from the same dual or quad channel kit to ensure inter-module compatibility.

So, ideally, get a dual (or quad) channel kit to replace all of the existing memory. The existing memory could be sold or kept as back-up.

Could try raising DRAM Voltage and/or memory controller voltage, but no guarantee that the modules will work despite voltage increases.
