Hyperx cloud 2 no mic pls help

ok guys the hyperx cloud 2 mic works only if u plug the usb
it does not work when u just plug the 3.5 jack pls help i put in front and back no mic sound
but when the usb is connected there is sound and 7.1

Try putting both the headphones and the microphone as default devide for each section of the Audio Devices panel.

nvm i need a audio splitter for mic to work its just a single jack right? so i need 2 splitters

Laptops and cellphones can access the mic without the adapter.

Why are you not looking to use USB however? The sound quality gets diminished and the mic quality especially when you use the 3.5 interface.
