HyperX Cloud Alpha Static noise coming from microphone

There is a ton of static noise coming from my microphone, its as loud as my own voice. i just received this hyperx cloud alpha in the mail an hour ago, brand new just bought it off amazon. and the mic is having this annoying sound. https://drive.google.com/open?id=136eZKxznKULvNo4GkRHKccrTenxsdYe9

i already tried it in another mic port and it is the same, my last headset's mic works perfect...

Did your other headset have a usb soundcard? Usually plugging the headphones straight into the motherboard creates static due to a lot of electrical interference. In my case, I bought a soundcard for my Cloud Alphas and the quality of both mic and sound improved, especially the microphone quality. If its not the motherboard creating the issue, it may be a faulty microphone which you can RMA. Hope this helps
