[SOLVED] HyperX Cloud Flight S good for the price?

Solution
For a reasonably priced wired headset, this headset is great, although if you buy from Drop it can take a bit to ship https://drop.com/buy/massdrop-x-sennheiser-pc37x-gaming-headset They are going to be pretty good for music also if you don't mind the mic on it full time.

For something more suitable for music, but you will need an external mic and maybe an amp to drive them https://drop.com/buy/beyerdynamic-dt880-pro-limited-edition-black

You can use those with a mod mic type or a USB mic (I like the Blue Snowball for price and quality). FX audio DAC-6 is good dac/amp to drive them for lower cost.

Those are going by a good price/quality ratio, you can get nicer sets in the $200+ but really not needed for good results.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

If I'm to go by the price listed on Amazon, 160USD for a wireless headset isn't too much but I'm also curious to ask what sort of headsets you have access to? If you add a little more to that amount, you can gain access to other reputable brands. Speaking of access, if this is for PC gaming, I'd stick to analog connectivity and not wireless.

I originally wanted a wireless headset because I thought it would be much easier to manage and look cleaner but I have started considering wired headsets again. I would love to see the options you'd recommend if I raised the budget of the wireless headset, and also the best wired options. Thanks :)
