Hi guys. Can you help me set the 3200 frequency in the BIOS? I have configuration:

  1. Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS
  2. Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, 3.7 GHz, AM4, 16MB, 105W (BOX)
  3. Procesor cooler: CPU Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML120R RGB
  4. Memory: HyperX Fury RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Dual Channel Kit
  5. SSD M2: SSD WD Black SN750 500GB PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2 2280
  6. Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R9 380 GAMING 4GB DDR5 256-bit
  7. Case: nJoy Arlow
  8. Source: Gigabyte G750H, 750W, semi-modulara, 80 Plus Gold
I try set frequency in the BIOS 3200 MHz, save&exit and PC no open. After many attempts, it just opened. Removed the memory ddr 4, inverted, removed the battery, etc. I updated to the latest BIOS version. (NO BETA)
Now I'm afraid to set something else in the BIOS. Please help me.

Drop your speed from 3200 to 3000 and it should work fine. You might be able to run 2933/3000 CL14-14-14-34. Dual rank configurations do not run well on Ryzen 2000, but 2x16GB works better than 4x8GB. Getting 4x8GB or 2x16GB 3200 CL14 or CL16 usually require tweaking timings to run them stable and usually ends up not working at all. At 3000 CL16, you likely won't notice any difference in performance compared to 3200 CL16.

Third-Eye, I first tried to set it to 2933MHz and it works, it shows me in the BIOS the frequency of 2933. I don't understand this XMP. Why does Profile 1 show me that I have 2933MHz and Profile 2 shows me that I have 3200MHz? XMP cannot be activated for both profiles at once. Either I choose profile 1 or profile 2. So which profile do I leave activated? And how do I set it to both 2933MHz or 3200MHz?

You would set 3200 CL16 XMP setting and then in the overclock menu at DRAM Frequency, drop it to 3000. You will probably have to set the overclocking mode to expert before you can change the speed to 3000. It should then be running 3000 CL16. If not, you can use Memory Try It to pick a speed and timing instead.

Set 3200MHz no work. PC no open. Removed one memory ddr 4 , BIOS restart with F2 and open. 2933Mhz work!
With Profile 2 (3200MHz) activated, my PC no open 🙁 Work with Profile 1 (2933MHz)
