HyperX Predator Clock Speed

Hey guys,

I just have a question about my memory's clock speed and whether it is correct.

I have HyperX Predator 8GB that has timings of 9-9-9-24 and a clock speed of 665Mhz. I don't know whether the speed is correct, it seems very low.

I was looking at another post a they were telling them to enable XMp as they had the same issue.

I went into my bios and found the XMP option and the options were> Disabled, Profile 1, Profile 2

Disabled: 1333MHz
Profile 1: 2133MHz
Profile 2: 1600MHz

I am not sure which on to put it on to enable it.

Sounds like a 2133 stick - what's the model # as well as what CPU and mobo? In the meantime try Profile 1 and if no joy, go back and try 2

Gigabyte Z87-D3HP-CF
Model Number: HX324C11T2K2/8

Profile 1 seems to be running alright and is now running at 1064MHz, however the timings have changed to (11-12-11-30). is that ok?

Pretty good, this spec is 11-13-12 😉 and right on track with the 1064 x 2 = 2128 which is normal to be off a couple of ticks, might see it change closer to true 2133 in a future BIOS update 😉
