Hyperxfury 8gb 1600mhz ram in P55-USB3L

I'm looking to upgrade my ram to an 8GB Hyperxfury 1600mhz ram. My question is would my mobo, P55-USB3l would be compatible with it? In Gigabyte website it states this: "3. Support for DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules"

It does support up to 2200mhz but it doesnt says anything on 1600mhz ram. Please help.

Probably not, the Kingston Fury line operates based on PnP rather than XMP as do 99+% of all DDR3 using profiles, the P55 chipset doesn't support PnP w/ DRAM can see the chipsets the Furys are compatible w/ here:

But isn't the XMP is like an "automatic overclocking tool" where the user don't need to punch any numbers in the BIOS? As far as I know, a non-xmp ram can be fitted to an XMP motherboard but the user have to manually register it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The mobo BIOS reads the XMP profile from the DRAM's SPD to use it, the Furys don't use XMP profiles, they depend on PnP (Plug and Play
