I’m having trouble getting RTX Video Super Resolution to work on chrome,

Firstly the video super resolution (VSR) does work on edge and VLC (RTX build), but does not work on chrome for some reason.

For reference I'm using 720p youtube videos.

Chrome I’m using is on Version 123.0.6312.106 (Official Build) (64-bit), is the latest build I've installed as of the time I’m posting this.

Use graphics acceleration when available option is enabled on chrome and both chrome.exe and msedge.exe to high performance on windows graphic settings.

I have also tried to use vsr on a chrome profile with all extensions disabled, and VSR still would not activate.

My monitor is LG’s 27GN950-B, its a 4k 160hz panel.

My windows 10 is up to date and I’m using latest nvidia (game ready) drivers as of the time I’m posting this, version 551.86 which I’ve downloaded from the new nvidia app. Also I believe my GPU’s UEFI is up to date.

My specs are RTX4080 (msi ventus 3x if it has any relevancy), Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM.

The only thing I haven't tried yet is DDU but I don't really want to do that, since I'm not entirely sure what everything would do on DDU.

I've already checked the thread of the similar issue of mine:

Why might I have this issue ? Can anyone help me fix this issue ?

Someone's going to tell you to run DDU anyway just to get that out of the way. But if it's working on Edge and VLC, then I would point the problem more at Chrome.

You could try completely uninstalling Chrome (make sure to get rid of the install folder it comes in) and reinstalling. Or you could try seeking out version 110 since that was the first version to have this feature supported. Otherwise, I'd either go ask NVIDIA or the Google Chrome support community.
