Question I’m running an 8700k oc to 5.2 ghz running at 1.35 volts temps are around 69-72 while gaming

I’m just looking to get a little insight on should my voltage be higher am I losing performance computer runs great just curious as to how to tell I’m getting the best performance for the OC

Be content with what you have....overclocking first of all voids your warranty (no problem in that though as most of the people do that) and increasing the voltage(even overclocking) also shortens the lifespan of your chip as @tennis2 said...so it's better with what you have

That temperature is a kinda high if you were just gaming and it reaches above 70C. Normally it should only reach 70C or above at 100% load, which I doubt your game could.

Have you tried running prime95 version 26.6 small FFT test (not blend test) on that overclock?
If that overclock can sustain the test for at least 6 hours and temperature stays at 75C~80C, then I say you have a solid overclock with appropriate Vcore.

If it fails to pass that test then you need to increase Vcore if you still wanna stay at 5.2 Ghz, OR, keep the same Vcore and decrease the overclock to 5.1 Ghz.

Running 5ghz.. 1.296 volts .. temps reach 76 Celsius ran intel burn test standard 10 times no crash ran cinabench no crashes prime 95 no crashes .. think I found a pretty stable oc pretty satisfied 👍
