I 4790k code b2

I have working Pc with i5 4670k on Asus maximus vi hero mobo. I obtained an i7 4790k fitted to Pc code 00. I have latest bios 1603 and Asus/ Intel drivers up to date. Was suggested on the forum i7 must be faulty, returned it to Intel under warranty got a replacement fitted now I getting code b2. There must be something I can do to get i7 to boot.

Have you tested with graphics card removed?

alexoiu I removed graphic card and it booted thank you very much.
Before I refit graphic card is there anything I need to do in bios to ensure boot up.

Try testing the second PCIe slot and make sure that the card is correctly powered, If still no go, try testing different graphics card, if possible.

I put Radeon R9 290 back in same slot connected the two power cables and PC booted everything working. Thanks you very much alexoiu.
