Hello guys.
I accidentally broke USB 3.0 motherboard pin. specifically the last one which have no pin underneath it.
one of the VBUS pin .
the pin is completely ripped out.
sooo........ what now?
should I still connect the USB 3.0 cable?
is it safe?
I believe I heard one of the USB 3.0 port won't work? is that right?!

No reason not to plug it in, an extra pin may be unsafe but not with one missing. It's supposed to provide 3.3v to external device but most work with 5vDC only.

Try measuring VBUS and GND with a multimeter after disconnecting power. If no shorts, wiggle the plug and recheck. If still no shorts, it's safe. One missing VBUS pin may cause power issues, but it should still work.

This is just a temporary fix.
You're better off returning the motherboard to seller for repair or replacement.
