so i am looking at graphics card and noticed that my motherboard isnt compatible with the one i wanted 🙁 what would be the best gpu i could get that is compatible with the dell 0YXT71 motherboard?

It's not the slot. It's amd lack of legacy bios support on the Rx cards. Best bet for that mobo is to stick to the 200/300 series cards. However, any of the decent amd cards are rediculously overpriced due to crypto-mining, so the better deal would be to go' team Green' instead, either a gtx1030 or gtx1050 or upto a gtx970/980 if the prices are good.


Almost all motherboards are compatible. Graphics cards sites do not refer to pre-built systems motherboards. Did you actually try? Some times, a simple bios update is all that is needed.
 
You have to be careful of the memory slots. Video cards with backplates might run in to the memory?

All video cards should be compatible with the motherboard. It's all about fitting in the case and the other components on the mother board like the CPU heatsink and memory.
