it says that it made too many attempts logging in so i can't log in manually. these attempts are obviously not from me
if you log into microsoft account you can look at where the log in attempts are coming from.
check microsoft account-> security then select "view my sign in activity"
in my case I see hackers all over the world attempting to get into my account.
in the last day here are the login attempts:
brazil, usa, uk, canada, sinapore, south africa, and a bunch of other locations.
most are attacking a email alias rather than my main email.
I create a main email which I never give to anyone, then make a email alias that I use for websites.
the attacks are generally on the email alias which I can delete at any time and just make another one without having to delete my main master email account.
when you look at the sign in activity it will show you location the sign in attempt came from. IP address, computer and other info.
