Question I am fixing an old pavilion g7-2340dx laptop and had an issue with the fan and mousepad stopped working

Well I decided to clean out the old laptop, and spray it out good with air and somehow I managed to mess up the mouse pad, and the fan wasn't working, then started working and got super loud then went off again. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix these things? My laptop is a g7-2340dx model with a a6-440m cpu (I plan to upgrade to the a10 soon) with 12gb ram, 500gb Ssd just installed. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Without actually looking at the system no way to know what was wrong. Since you opened it, I would suspect you unhooked or loosened a connector or maybe broke something off the motherboard.
