[SOLVED] I am trying to upgrade a pre built for my cousin

The system I want to upgrade is a hp prodesk 600 g1 and it has a 240w psu. I was planning to throw one of those low profile 1650 cards into it and it should work right? Idk if the power supply will be able to support it so I would like to know if it would work. image

that PSU should be fine, however the board may not supply a full 75W for the card. some OEM boards are limited to 50Wor even lower 30W.

the 1650 is a 75W card and it will draw all the power it needs from the slot IF the slot provides 75W.

is there a way that I can check if it will support the full 75w or will i just have to try to see if it works?

if you have a 75W card you could try, that's about it.

Try putting your parts into a PC partpicker list it normally shows when pieces are incompatible I don't know enough about the old stuff/that low power stuff
