[SOLVED] I am wondering how I can find out what type of motherboard I have?

I am trying to restore a computer I purchased in 2016.

Its stressful times and my memories not the same as it used to be. I was dumb, thought it was the ram, so took out replaced after cleaning. Then I thought the video card needed replacing as I was using onboard. Purchased and bought new one, still no display.
I turned it on and finally, frog me! Its not even beeping. I am guessing I need a new mother board.
However I don't even know what type I have in the pc.
Its an Acer Aspire
E2200 Intel Pentium dual core processor
3gb ddr ram
500 gb sata hd

You basically can't get a motherboard for that.
You need a socket 775 (NON PENTIUM) board

Which are REALLY hard to find, since theyre super old and capacitors don't last 13 years.


(Also, that pc is so low its not worth it.)

Agreed, unless you need this specific computer running again you can pick up a cheap refurbished PC for under $100 that is many times faster.

If you really need that computer working, just look for another Acer Aspire of that model on ebay.

Thanks for all of your help. Your right, I have looked and found a refurbished computer online.
I am going to upgrade for sure.
Although i'll spend more than a 100 and get the much needed hardware I need.
